ANTIQUE ENGLISH ESTATE late 19th century VICTORIAN SPELTER JEWERLY CASKET TRINKET BOX WITH FOUR CLAW FEET FEATURING A VERY RARE PINE CONE MOTIF

Wonderful addition to your antique Victorian spelter jewelry casket or trinket box necessaires collection!   Amazing spelter hinged box with gilt enamel paint finish and simply stunning in appearance and condition.

Recently purchased from an estate in London, England which had it dated late 1800's  This antique pine cone motif spelter jewelry casket has a marking on the bottom that reads 96 in gilt etched numbers and I am not familiar with the maker.   I have close-up pictures below in my picture gallery showing the mark in detail.

Condition:  The spelter jewelry casket trinket box is in lovely vintage condition with only two minor hairline cracks on the edge or the rim which can be seen close-up in my picture gallery below.  The pine cones are exquisitely life-like and the flowing vines are intricate in design.  All original hardware hinges are intact.

Measurements:  6" in length, 4 1/2" in width and 5" in height.
