ANTIQUE ENGLISH ESTATE VICTORIAN ROUND MAHOGANY WOODEN JEWELRY BOX  FEATURING AN ELEGANT EMBROIDERY NEEDLEWORK CABBAGE ROSE FLORAL INTRICATE TOP DESIGN

SIMPLY STUNNING WITH NO RESERVE 

Recently purchased as part of a private estate sale from London, England.  The opening and closure mechanism is in perfect working order and retains the original vintage brass latch hardware.  No maker markings that I notice.  English Estate purchased from dated the jewelry box circa late 1800's.  Needlework colors are muted or subdued pink, green, white, blue, and purple.

Highly decorated Victorian floral cabbage rose embroidered needlework textile design on the top lid and soft pink felt interior material in good condition.  Wonderful motif and smooth patina.  The bottom is octogan shaped and in wonderful condition with four green felt like pad which will protect fine furniture.  I couldn't decide on which pictures to edit for the description so I just had to list them all below in order to show the amazing quality of this Victorian age Jewelry Box.

Amazing and well-preserved condition with minor age rubbing to some places on the vintage dark wood which can be seen in my close-up pictures below.  Round shape with a large vintage mirror on the interior of the top lid.  Octagonal shape on the inside with four separate compartments.  One long compartment near the front with two smaller compartments on each side with a small ring holder in the center of the two smaller compartments.  This vintage jewelry box is simply exquisite and I purchased several other antique items from the same London estate which shall be listed this week.   

Measurements:  7" in diameter, 2 1/2" in height.
