For sale very fine antique late Georgian early Victorian period English wheel barometer.  Hand polished rosewood with mother -of-pearl inlay.  Dating,  circa 1830's - 1850's. Large  silvered graduated dial, thermometer tube is broken long time ago, could be replaced very easy with new one.  The case  is in very good condition ,  veneer is all original. The convex glass on barometer and thermometer is also original. The dial on both instruments are perfect. All the glass tubes and wheel operating mechanism are all intact and working as is the mechanism for the marker hand with white bone knob. Large impressive size : 44" high, 13" diameter, 1 1/2" thick. Perfect for your period home. hard to find these early instruments in such fine condition. Good luck.
