An English solid silver dressing table/vanity mirror fully hallmarked for the year 1912 and the assay town of Birmingham. The mirror weighs an impressive three pounds and stands solid with a wooden back.
Simply stunning addition to any dressing table or vanity. Classic Edwardian style. Simple, yet elegant. The mirror measures a generous 13 1/4" high and is 8 3/4" wide.
The mirror is hallmarked for Henry Matthews and is only a three years from being a century old. The mirror is in very good antique condition that includes some small dents, dings, and age spots on the beveled mirror. I also can see several light scratches on the mirror. The mirror polished up beautifully....but the shine and my photographic abilities collided! I will be glad to provide more pictures of this beautiful mirror.
