I don't know very much about violins but I have obtained this information from the internet.This is an antique Ernst Kreusler 4/4 violin made sometime in the 1920's in Germany.There is a stamp on the inside of the violin that can be seen through one of the "F" holes reading as "ERNST KREUSLER/DRESDEN".I purchased it at an estate auction several weeks ago in Saint Augustine,Florida and it is as I had purchased it.I have not tried to clean it or touch it up.It comes with the case and a some accessories shown in the photos.The bows are not included in this auction.I am selling them separately.The entire finish is worn and scratched up with two small cracks on the face near the tailpiece.The head and neck are in good shape with no cracks or splitting.This violin has been heavily used but aside from some small chipping around the rest of the body it appears to be very stable and solid and worthy of proper restoration.Nicer Ernst Kreusler violins I seen online are priced from the $1000 price range and up.
