ANTIQUE FRENCH 18K GOLD PERFUME SCENT BOTTLE CHARM 1840  

A terrific antique French, solid 18 carat gold (tests thereabouts) charm or pendant; beautifully modelled as a tiny flask or perfume bottle, with hand engraved decoration, its original gold chain hanger and hinged top opening to allow access to its original cork-set stopper.

High quality, very attractive and ideal for any chain or charm bracelet !

CONDITION: All original and very, very good. Slight signs of wear, no loss or damage.

DEFECTS: None.

DATE/MARKS: Around 1840/50. French eagle's head mark.

DIMENSIONS: Bottle 25 x 13 mm, excl chain (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

WEIGHT: Approx. 2.8 grams.
