Absolutely gorgeous & rare antique French Moser style amethyst glass & gilt bronze ormolu 5 3/4" sugar, tea or jewelry casket with crisp wheel cut bevels and Mary Gregory style hand painted figural enamel decoration! Stunning, don't you think! And the amethyst glass is one of the more rare colors and makes the opaque white grisaille style enamel stand out beautifully! A very French looking lad carrying what appears to be a seed filled saucer, a dove or song bird hovering overhead and garden surroundings. Ornate reticulated feet hold the casket aloft, all in wonderful condition and with immense visual appeal!

Very good-excellent condition. There are a few tiny nips to the inside rear rim of the box (just under the hinge area) but no other chips, cracks or damage to note. The feet may be a bit bent out of their original positions (slightly less than symmetrical) but no breaks or repairs there either. All original with lock in collar but missing the little skeleton key. See pictures for measurements.

Shipping and Handling Policy:
Our shipping days are Tuesday and Friday, paid items will be shipped on the first shipping day after payment is recieved (except when special circumstances exist). We prefer to use USPS whenever possible, and require all packages to be insured. If you prefer another method of shipment, please mention it. We charge only actual expense of shipment/insurance, except in the case of larger items which must have special wood crates built. Wood crate charge, when applicable, is a flat $35.00 in addition to actual postage & insurance charges.

Other Information:
8.75% sales tax applicable as of April 1st, 2009 for shipments & sales within the state of California, no exceptions. If you are within CA and are a dealer buying for resale, you must provide us your active resale certificate # and acknowledgment of intent to resell or we will have to collect sales tax. No exceptions.
