19C FORK AND KNIFE WITH HORN AND SILVER HANDLES

THE FORK HAS A PROTECTIVE PIECE FOR THE THUMB (IT CAN BE LIFTED WHEN NEEDED)

KNIFE HAS A BLADE THAT CAN BE SHARPENED AND CARVES BEAUTIFULLY

The measurements for the fork is 10 1/2 inches long.  The tines open wide to grab the meat well. The fork part is one inch wide. The length of the handle is the same as the knife: 5 inches.

The knife is 12 3/4" long.  The point of the blade is very sharp. 

The horn handles show their age but are in good condition.  They hold perfectly well to the silver joining part which is decorated with aranthus leaves.

On the blade of the knife you can read: "AU DIAMANT" . There is a hallmark above it that looks like a hammer.  The fork tines have been silverplated and it is still in good condition.
