ANTIQUE FRENCH GARNITURE CLOCK-ONYX-BRONZE ORMALU-MINT!

This exquisite French made clock is huge. The lady and candelabra measure 30" high.  They are in excellent condition both physically and mechanically. The clock has the most lovely melodious sounds and strikes on the hour and half hour. It is a 7 day clock. Adourned with lovely ormalu all done in a bronze gilt, the onyx stands out so vividly. The French works are, of course, original, as all of the clock is. See the pictures of the works, they all have the same numbers on them as well to assure it is all original. We have had this clock for many many years and enjoyed it, but now are downsizing and cannot leave it in our large summer home, where it fits nicely due to all the robberies these days. So, back home it came with us to smaller quarters.....but nowhere to show it off properly.  It is very heavy and in very lovely condition. We can ship and set it up for you only in Nassau and Suffolk counties of Long Island. The clock may be picked up as well on Long Island, in a small town known as Bellport. I have it stored in my carriage house. This clock commands a significant spot to be totally appreciated and enjoyed, and I hope you have such a beautiful room. When the clock was cleaned by our good friend, who is a professional clock restoration man, I asked about the markings. The circle mark on the inside of the clock and information tells that it is from 1855 and was the winner at a Worlds Fair.  The writing on the front of the beautiful porcelain face tells the city in France where it was made and it is known as the Champagne Area of France.
