This lovely vintage square HenRiot hand painted Quimper plate is decorated with the traditional center plate with petit breton peasant women holding a red rose on her hand she stands amongst Pine tree and foliage, with rim is done with a simple repeated hand painted foliage border design that brings more focus to the center. This well done design uses green, yellow, red, blue and more of the rust color that the usual rose.
Measures 10 inches across
Fully Marked with a circa 1922-1968 “HenRiot Quimper France” mark on backside. hand marking black ink reads D 303 D 301 MD in the back
Item is in excellent condition No re stored. No Chips or crazing in good standing excellent condition
