| Outstanding French Petite Pointe Tapestry Handbag-Purse with Siver Frame & Chain Figural, dual scenes, one side shows a man and woman courting, the other side shows a cow in a pastoral scene. Colors are muted. The side with the man and womans shows some thread damage. Size: 8-1-2" length X 8-1-4" at it's widest. Frame measures just shy of 9" from side to side X 1-1-4" at widest. Frame: There is a small makers mark on inside frame of which I just can't make out. I can't say for certain it's sterling but given the period and how it cleans up, it could very well be. Frame is very ornate, showing cupids playing instruments &reading, flowers and just below clasp, a face. The latch is a flower figure that releases when pushed down. Chain measures 7-1-4" doubled, from side clasps to center hanging point. Interior is a rose colored fabic. Threads have started to fray. Sewn into interior on one side is a pocket with a snap closure. Stitching has come undone on upper right hand side of pocket. On the opposite side there is an open, gathered pocket. If necessary, we will mail you the proof of insurance. However, each shipping label provides all of the insurance information necessary for the U.S. Postal Service. Returns: I offer a 3 day return policy. If you are not completely satisfied with the item you may return it for a full refund of your purchase price including the outgoing shipping charges to your home. I cannot however refund your shipping charges back to me. The shipping charges on a returned item back to me are your responsibility.
