



A 19th. Century French sterling silver tea caddy with gilt interior marked with the 1st. Minerve for the French standard of .950/1000. The Empire style caddy in an octagon shape has applied designs in the forms of urns, rosettes, torches, and ribbons. A most unusual symmetrical tea caddy for the collector.
Measurements; 4 ½” or 11 1/2cm high; base 2 ½” or 6.4cm
Weight; 200 gr. or 6.4 troy oz
Condition; good, several dings on lid and body as shown in pictures. More pictures are available.
Marks; 1st. Minerve, maker’s mark is worn and difficult to decipher.

Returns accepted; please notify me within 3 days of receipt of item. Shipping fees will be buyers responsibility. If due to a mistake on my part, return costs will be my responsiblity. My preference is that you be satisfied with your purchase and I will work toward that goal. The item must be packed, shipped, and insured in the same manner. If item is sent with a signature required on delivery it must be returned with signature required.
