ANTIQUE GERMAN 800 SILVER BEAKER LIQUOR CUP GOBLET


Description: An antique German 800 silver (Not silver plated) Liquor goblet.
Fully hallmarked on bottom w/German silver marks, please check attached photos. Marks: German silver marks crescent moon and a crown, 800 and maker's mark (a cup) belonging to Otto Wolter, Schwäbisch Gmünd founded 1875 - 1991.
German hallmarking system was unified in 1888 (see Decree January 7, 1886) adopting the national mark "crescent and crown" indicating in thousandths the fineness of silver. This system is still in use in present days.
Measurements: Upper diameter is 55mm x 38mm lower diameter x 65mm tall. Or upper diameter is 2 1/8” x 1 ½” lower diameter x 2 ½” tall.
Condition: Excellent, no dents.
Weight: 30 grams.
Date: after 1888.
