It’s called an Ultra-Violet Germicidal Ray and comes compleat with the original label and the letter from the manufacturer describing all it’s “Uses.” LOL

Wait until you hear what this thing does…(Other then likely cause cancer)

The paperwork claims this piece will:

Cure Head Colds

Cure Eczema

Clear Sinuses

Heal a sore throat – If inserted in the mouth! LOL

Cure Athletes Foot

Heals cuts and bruises

Clear Boils and Blood Infections

Cure Poison Ivy

And Cure Varicose Veins!

Bare in mind that is what the manufacturer says… Me I wouldn’t use this thing on my worst enemy! … Well, maybe my ex-wife, but only if she REALLY got on my nerves! LOL

The piece was manufactured by W.H. Meisenhelter from Landisville Pennsylvania and runs on 117 volts on a 60 AC cycle.

If you plug this in DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY INTO THE BULB! – At least they warned us against doing that much!

The ray comes to you in a wonderful antique Dove Tailed box with clasp and handle for ease of transport.

I have not tested this item (NOR AM I GOING TO) so it is in unknown working condition but to be perfectly honest, I have no doubt this item would work if plugged in.  It’s almost in LIKE NEW CONDITION.

What I find really neat is apparently it’s based on the same technologies as the new ionic devices out now for air purification! LOL Maybe they really were onto something after all!

The piece measures 7 ½ x 7 ½ x 3 ½ inches making a perfect little display piece that will bring you many years of enjoyment as you torture *Ahem* I mean entertain your guests with it! LOL

The only flaw I see is a small scuff on the edge of the box. Nothing major at all.
