This beautiful ANTIQUE heavily detailed green and gold bordered bowl is marked Victoria Carlsbad Austria on the back.  It has a lovely picture in the center which tells a story if you look closely.  There is a lady on the right side hiding and looking at the couple in the foreground.  Is it a chaparone, mother, or forgotten girl friend?  The gold is very slightly worn on the inside border but still quite decorative.  There is a chunk out of the outside area at the bottom which is not rough like a broken area would be but rather smooth as though it has always been like that.  It can be seen clearly on the bottom left in the picture.  Because I displayed this piece and never used as a bowl, this imperfection did not show much nor did it bother me.  Bowl measures 11 inches across.
