It is almost 11" inches high from top to bottom & almost 8" wide. It wieghs 4.4 lb. Spinach green stone, VASE is covered with 3D beautifully carved tree its branches & leaves in complete details. with two peacok sitting on that tree.  On right jand side in very light green and white jade a tree is carved with a complete cat statue playing with a fully carved spinach green butterfly.  It has its Certified Appraisal Report along with this dated 1986. According to that report which is done in 1986 ,declared this as original authentic  & valued at  $7,500.00 Its been more than two decades so now its market value is much more than what it had been valued 22 years ago. It also comes with its orginal cushioned packing. The material jade is actually made up of two different kinds of stone. The most widespread mineral is nephrite, a variety of the mineral actinolite and a silicate of calcium and magnesium. It is composed of fibrous intertwinned crystals. The other, more precious but less used mineral is the pyroxene jadeite, a material composed of interlocking and very compact crystals. Chemically, it is a mix of sodium and aluminium silicate NaAl[Si2O6]. The tough character of jade that made it even stronger than steel was one reason for its widespread use in early civilisations in Europe, Far-East and Meso-America. Besides its toughness, the smoothness of the stone and the broad range of colors made it very attractive to early artisans and artists. This vase leaves are broken from some places & those broken leaves are included in this, as shown in pictures below. These leaves can be glued very easliy . Without these leaves also it looks a complete piece & we took all those picture without these broken leaves.
