Excellent condition wooden shafted Scottish R. Forgan putter.This nicely preserved club head has the R Forgan ‘Flagstick’ cleek mark and is their ‘Giraffe’ model with a long hosel.Hosel is 5 ¾ inches long! Blade is ever so slightly offset. Nice mottled brown/gray patina to the metal.Absolutely no rust or pitting.Hosel pin is scantly detectable. Straight hickory wooden shaft is without chips or cracks and almost certainly an original.Wooden shaft is flush and tight at the hosel.Club dates right around 1925 I believe.35 ½ inches in total length.Old intact 15 inch leather wrap grip remains in good condition.
