|
| This is a rare 1930s Manchurian (controlled by Japanese) Minami Manshuu Tetsudou Kabushikigaisha (The South Manchuria Railway Co.) stock. The value is 50 yen, a fairly large sum at the time. This was issued on Showa 8 (1933) and purchased on Showa 9 (1934). The last date on it is Showa 12 (1937). The train vignette is very beautiful. It measures 9.5 inches x 7.5 inches. Condition is excellent, I've never seen a nicer one. See all the pictures, it's a real beauty. I wouldn't list it if I wasn't sure the winner wouldn't be pleased. Learn more about the Minami Manshuu Tetsudou Kabushikigaisha by going here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Manchuria_Railway Note the name on the front, far left is Hayashi Hakutaro, who was president of the company from 1932 to 1935. I'm listing several rare items today from my own collection too, see my other auctions. Many collectors, antique shops, movie prop houses and auction related companies from all over the world source me for unique Japanese antiques. Thank you and good luck bidding.PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING:
