This is a beautiful Japanese 6th Class Order of the Rising Sun medal. The medal is perfect. We only held it by the ribbon hook, we've never even touched it. If you are looking for the perfect medal, or upgrading a medal you already own, this will work for you. It measures 138 mm (5-3/8 inches) from top of hook to bottom of the medal. The Order of the Rising Sun medal was established by Council of State Decree of April 10, 1875.
