Offered here is an ANTIQUE JENNINGS BROS CRYSTAL REGULATOR MANTEL CLOCK. DIMENSIONS: 11" HIGH BY 6 1/2" WIDE BY 5 1/4" DEEP. THE DIAL: 2 PIECE 4" OUTER DIAM. PORCELAIN WITH ARABIC NUMBERS. EXPOSED ESCAPEMENT WITH RUBY JEWEL PALLETS ON DEPRESSED INNER RING JUST ABOVE HAND ARBOR HOLE. ON DIAL JUST BELOW HAND ARBOR IS JENNINGS TRADEMARK. ON BOTTOM OF DIAL IT IS MARKED MADE IN U. S. A. CASE: SOLID BRASS EXCEPT FOR CAST IRON BRASS PLATED BASE( which shows some plating loss as shown). CASE HAS THICK BEVELED GLASS ON ALL FOUR SIDES AND HAS A FRONT AND REAR SWING DOORS. 8 DAY RUN STRIKES ON THE HOUR AND HALF HOUR. PENDULUM: MERCURY TYPE TUBES WITH METAL INSERT WEIGHTS INSTEAD OF MERCURY. DOES APPEAR TO RUN. HAS PREVIOUS OWNERS ID # LIGHTLY ENGRAVED ON BOTTOM PLATE & ON BOTTOM OF PENDULUM.
