  • This is a beautiful Antique 22” Kley und Hahn Walkure Doll with #250 J.D. Kestner Head.
  • The head mold number (#250) for this particular K & H were purchased from the German firm of J. D. Kestner.
  • Kley und Hahn was a Doll Factory in Thuringia, Germany.

    DOLLS DESCRIPTION:
  • Measures: 21” tall
  • Kestner #250 BISQUE Socket Head. (No condition issues. All original).
  • Full ball-jointed, COMPOSITION body.
  • Stunning blue glass sleep eyes with painted & feathered eyebrows and painted on upper and lower lashes.
  • Soft blond mohair wig.
  • Open mouth with 4 teeth.
  • Divine facial coloring. The rosiest cheeks!!
  • Marked on back of head: 250 K. H. Walkure 2 ¾”. Her body is stamped Germany.

    ORIGINAL CLOTHING CONSISTING OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
    1. Silk Dress (Elegant pale pink color)
    2. Darling Attached Cape (Elegant pale pink color)
    3. Silk (Hard bodied) Bonnet/Hat (Elegant pale pink color)

    6. Full Slip comprised of Rows & Rows of Divine Lace
    7. Knit Thigh-High Stockings
    8. Leather tie-on Shoes with fancy metal Buckles Stamped 4 on the bottom.

     CONDITION ISSUES:
     BODY - Several surface stress cracks noted, but body is very sound and sturdy. Rubbing on tips of fingers.
    HAIR- Original mohair wig. Uncertain if the hair “style” is the original.
    CLOTHING - 1 small dot age stain on pantaloons, some age discoloration to half slip. All other articles of clothing are in strong, sturdy, clean condition.
