EXQUISITE ANTIQUE LADIES VANITY CLOTH COVERED BOX WITH STUNNING ART NOUVEAU HANDPAINTED WOMAN HOLDING FLOWERS INTRICATE DESIGN ON THE COVER.

Absolutely beautiful in design and condition - This ladies Vanity Box is guarranted to be a vintage accessory. 

I recently purchased this vintage Ladies Vanity Box and the contents at an estate sale from Boston, Massachusetts along with several similar items acquired from the same estate which I will be listing soon, so please check out my other listings

Condition:  Excellant Vintage conditon with some expected fading to the outer cloth lining of the box and some age-fraying to the tips of the cloth on the box edges.  The contents include hairpins from various eras which were placed inside by the previous owner.  I do not know if any of the contents are original to the antique box.

Estate dated the box itself circa late 19th century to early 20th century.  The detail of the handpainted decoration to the cover of the box is very art nouveau showing a beautiful woman with long flowing dark hair and she is holding florals in faded greens, yellows, and pinks.  The edging design is flowing and artistic, as well.

Measuresments of the Cloth covered Wooden Box:  6" in length, 4 1/2" in width and 1 1/4" in depth.  When opened the box measures approximately 8" in width.  The interior of the box contains three compartments filled with dozens of hair pins & hair accessories from many different eras, Some are older than others, which can be viewed close-up in my picture gallery below.  Extremely well-preserved condition.
