Wonderful folding locket lorgnette and chain

Very strong springs - one to spring the lenses from the case, the other to open the lenses apart. Silver coloured metal rims ?plated and decorated casing, no marks found

Complete with heavyweight chain approx 13" long when folded (ie approx 26" long in total), again no marks found. Clasp nice and strong

Glass lenses approx 3.5D to 4D making them fairly strong for reading. Alternatively, would be easy enough to have your own prescription put in as lenses removed and inserted by loosening the screw in each rim

Some fine surface scratches to the casing, really only noticeable in the central cartouche
