 THIS IRON BLADE/KNIFE CALLED MANGBETU "TROMBARK" BY THE KUBA, WAS ALSO USED AS FORM OF CURRENCY IN THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO.  THE WOODEN HANDLE IS WRAPPED WITH COPPER.  IT HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED AS 18TH CENTURY AND IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  IT MEASURES 26" X 8".
