ANTIQUE MAP OF AMSTERDAM CORNELIUS DANCKERTS 1600s-RARE


















An attractive and rare framed antique map of Amsterdam, dating from the 1600s - perhaps 1662?

I think it is by the map maker Cornelius Danckerts.

Modern frame and mount, and modern inscription in biro on reverse.

CONDITION -  in generally good condition, given its age. The map has been folded and there is some minor wear on the top edges of the creases; and there is slight staining in the bottom left corner (seephotos). I would say that the map looks better in reality than it does on my photos.

DIMENSIONS  - overall size - 12" by 14.75"; engraving size - 7.75" by 5".
