 Description Shipping and payments
You are bidding on an antique cast iron coal burning stove made by Martin Stove & Range Co. of Florence, Alabama.  It is in very good condition considering its age with the following exceptions.  It is rusty as would be expected, but not rusted out anywhere, one of the legs is a little loose because the screw and nut that holds it on just needs tightening but screw is rusted so I didn't attempt to tighten it for fear of breaking it (it works fine as is) and lastly there is one crack in the top center section that you can see clearly in the pictures (would not affect operation).  All the screws are slotted and all the nuts used are square so I believe all are original.  Under top access door it says: MARTIN STOVE & RANGE CO.  FLORENCE, ALA.  On the bottom of both round top plates it says: 8 - LAUNDRY and has the MS&R symbol.  Center top section and top access door both have on back the MS&R symbol and 8 - L.  It has a removable coal grate in bottom.  The stove measures 19 1/4 inches tall x 18 1/2 inches wide x 15 inches deep (from wall to front).  Stove weighs approximately 45 pounds and with packaging would weigh approximately 50-55 pounds.  If you are the winning bidder you can pick up stove in Sulphur Springs, Texas or I will ship it via Fed-Ex to the contigous United States only for at flat rate of $50.00.  I will pack it as well as I can and insure it but it will take me a little time to pack it so please be patient.  If you have any questions please ask and I will try to answer them although I know very little about these antique stoves.
