Description Up for auction is an estate antique Italian micro mosaic oval pin that dates to right around 1900. This beautiful piece measures approximately 1-3/8 inch by 1 inch by a little over 1/4 inch. The colors are so very bright, beautiful, vibrant and the piece has a sort of floral and fan design. This piece is made up of teeny tiny glass tiles that are all hand set into a brass mounting by Italian master craftsman. The back is not signed, but most, if not all of these pieces were created in Italy and the brooch is in EXCELLENT condition with NO missing tiles. I have several of these brooches and this one is absolutely one of my favorites. It just amazes me how creative and beautiful they are, and how anyone could have the patience to set each tiny tile just astounds me. This truly is a great example of Italian micro mosaic jewelry and it would make an excellent addition to any antique jewelry collection. Shipping
Shipping is free on most of my items in the US, but international buyers will have to pay for shipping. I ONLY CHARGE WHAT IT COSTS ME TO SHIP AND I REFUND ANY OVERPAYMENT RIGHT AWAY.
If you feel you cannot leave 5 stars for shipping costs (I do not charge shipping for 99.9% of my items and I do not charge a dime over what it costs me to ship)then I regretfully have to ask that you do not bid. I have no control over what the postal service or UPS charge and I refund any difference should you overpay, so my service certainly earns the 5 star rating.
