Pattern : B157Dinnerware Type: Cup
Material : Porcelain
Antique Minton Porcelain Tea Cup. # B157.  c 1870.  (Do not know length of time in production).  Rare and beautiful polychrome hand painted, raised pattern with intricate designs, floral branches.   Band of decoration around top interior of cup, and small floral bunch at the bottom.  Gold enamel trim on rim and handle.  Cup is 2 1/8" high  X  3 3/8" top dia.   Maker's mark: Rose crown over globe.  'B157 X, Minton, England'.   It is in excellent, never used condition.   No chips, cracks, scratches or discoloration.   Rim finish excellent.   Bit of thin lower trim line missing. (see photo 2).   Has been in smoke free home. Thank you for looking.
