THIS IS GORGEOUS TO ME!  I PICKED THIS UP AT A ESTATE SALE IN THE "ANTIQUE SECTION".  ON THE FRONT OF THE PURCHASE IT SAID MOTHER OF PEARL, IT HAS A VERY NICE WEIGHT TO IT AND LOOKS MORE LIKE ABALONE TO ME.  IT IS IN WONDERFUL CONDITION.

I LOVE TO COLLECT COMPACTS!  THIS ONE IS 2 1/2" ACROSS AND 2 3/4" HEIGHT.  IT OPENS TO A MIRROR AND WHAT IS A PICTURE FRAME.
