On offer this antique Black Forest life-size and lifelike museum piece which
was purchased in Germany and dates 1880 or older. The piece was fabricated by
Madel & Sohn in Ichenhausen. Remains of the manufacturer's label are on the
backside of the plaque. Real antlers on the reindeer head with 33 points in
total. This head origines from Schloss Buckeburg near the town of Minden in
Germany and belonged to the Furst of Schaumburg-Lippe I was told. Great and
detailed carved and a very warm and original patina. This reindeer head has
three tone glass eyes. Excellent condition. Measures: Head 65 inches tall 35
inches wide. Plaque 34 inches tall 23 inches wide. Deep 35 inches. Shipping $350
