ANTIQUE NIPPON MORIMURA HATPIN HAT PIN HOLDER

Welcome to my auction - Up for your consideration is this lovely antique hatpin holder. The porcelain holder is hand painted with pink roses, accented with moriage gold gilt designs around the top and base. It is marked with the green "M" (standing for "Morimura") inside a wreath, crowned by "Hand Painted" and Nippon below (see photo). The holder dates circa 1915.

The holder is in wonderful condition considering age! No cracks, one chip on the bottom that barely shows on the base (see photo), some wear to gilt as shown in photos. It stands approximately 4 1/2" tall, 1 5/8" across the top and 2 3/4" across the base.

A beautiful antique holder to display your hatpins or add to your collection!
