NO RESERVE ..............U.S.A. & CANADA SHIPPING ONLY ON THIS ITEM.........................................................Estate Sale Item................................This auction is for a lovely Antique  Metal Lamp of what looks to be a dancing lady . The piece likely dates to right around the turn of the century ,  1900 - 1910 . The Lamp is what I would call a “ Finishing Fixer”  , as it appears someone was rewiring it , and never finished putting it back together . It is exactly as I purchased it , with a bag of parts tied to it. It looks like the hardest part has been done , of running new , old style silk , electric cord thru the figure . I am not sure all the parts have stayed with the lamp , so please look at my photo of the parts , to make sure . My experience in buying something that needs to be put back together , is that there is always 1 or 2 things missing , so looks at the photos closely . If there are missing pieces , lamp parts can be found easily at a Home Depot style store  . There is a metal grate on the bottom of the base, and I can see inside , that the base , and the lady figure are 2 separate pieces , held together by a center screw inside. I can tell the metal base has been repainted at some time , but still has nice age wear. There is normal age or finger wear to the gold paint on the lady figure , mostly on the raised areas of her dress. Really nice details on the dress. The entire figure , and the base are a cast metal , making this a pretty heavy piece. The Base is approx. 7 in. in diameter , and the total height of the lamp as it is , is approx. 22 in. tall , to the top of the little threaded pipe coming out of the top of her head. There are some very small age nicks around the edge of the platform she is standing on , but I see no cracks or repairs on the piece . The only damage or flaw I find , is that the tops of both her pinky fingers are gone . It doesn’t really stand out , as her fingers fold in toward the palms . She may have had something in her hands , that was attached to these fingers , and that is why they maybe gone. There is also a very hard to notice , casting mark , near her right knee , but with all the folds and flowing of her dress , you have to look for it to see it. She seems to have all her toes , bows , and whatever , with nothing missing that I can find .  I could not find a foundry makers mark or name anywhere , unless it is somewhere in the folds of her dress . She just needs someone with a little rewire , re assemble know how , plus a nice old style Lamp Shade , and she should look great for another 100 years .
