ANTIQUE No 40 GLASS DAZEY BUTTER CHURN 4 QUART PADDLES!

ANTIQUE Rare 4-Wood Paddle DAZEY #40, 4 Quart, Butter Churn!

This is a great old glass authentic DAZEY butter churn that stilll has its four original wood hand-cranked paddles! Many of these old butter churns only have two. On the glass, the clear raised writing reads "4 QT, Dazey Churn & MFG CO., USA, Made in St. Louis, No. 40."

The paddles are in great shape as are the metal top (a little rust amd wear typical for its age but not too bad) and hand-cranked machinery with wood handle. The metal top says "Dazey" near the top metal handle and has a little star beneath it. There is no screen--sorry--it has been lost during the years but you can find a replacement screen on ebay or perhaps an antique store. The paddles rotate smoothly when the handle is cranked! The glass is very heavy and in good clear shape except for one side fissure that starts on the top and goes to the bottom of the next side--see last picture--however, the glass in this area is sturdy, not breaking apart, and in usable shape. It just needs a little dusting!

Great Dazey churn collectible and hard to find with four wooden paddles! Stands about 16 inches tall with metal top and is very heavy!
