***Important Feedback Changes as of 5/19/08: Buyers Take Care of Vintage Sellers on Ebay as many are leaving. Ebay recently made more changes to the feedback system that has reduced most Seller ratings, after many years of hard work building excellent feedback through honest ethical transactions. Instead of a score for all sales, Ebay now only figures the last 12 months. Likewise, Sellers are being scrutinized on their past 30 day DSR's, which is the 5 star rating Buyers, so please be accurate and honest when rating your Seller, especially those that work so hard to provide photo's, accurate descriptions, refund policy, communication throughout your transaction and ship within the time frame stated in their listing. Sellers have to meet a standard close to 5 stars to remain on Ebay. Always work out any problem with your Seller before leaving feedback, make sure to read their auction terms, payment and shipping terms and refund policy as communication is the key to great transactions. Unfortunately, many antique/collectible Sellers are leaving Ebay due to undeserved negative or neutral feedback.***
An example would be: (1) Buyer bids and does not pay for item then leaves negative feedback, (which Ebay should NOT allow but does). (2) Buyer leaves negative feedback upon receiving an item damaged in shipping. Again contact your Seller instead of punishing them for the shipper’s errors. All of our items are fully insured. (3) Buyer receives an item and he had higher expectations. Again, if you’re not happy, contact your Seller as many have refund policies as we do. It will indeed be a sad day when the antique, vintage and collectible Sellers leave Ebay, and Buyers again will have to buy from antique stores, some of which are high priced, in their own area instead of having the ability to look for these items on Ebay, from Sellers all over the world.***
