ANTIQUE PIANO STOOL

WITH SERPENT HEAD AND GLASS -

CRYSTAL BALL FEET

MADE BY H. HOLTZMAN & SONS

COLUMBUS, OHIO

The auction is for a Rare Victorian era piano stool with cast iron SERPENT's Head holding a glass/ crystal ball in the jaws.  Very dramatic!! The Serpents Head has great detail in the casting and the wood legs have great turning that set this off very nicely. The Cast Serpents Heads have a "Bronze" Color and "scales" going up the rest of the casting.

The piano stool is dark and may be made of Maple or Cherry. This is about 20" high and will adjust up to 23-1/2" high. The seat is 15" in diameter. The cast metal that holds the seat to the treaded rod under the seat is stamped  H. HOLTZMAN & SONS of Columbus, Ohio.

This is in very good all original condition with NO damage. This is very strong and is in ready to use condition.

There is no reserve on this auction.

These will make a great addition to any collection.
