Here is a very nice old landscape..came from a small town where I live...depicts a double-waterfall..one of the best elements in this painting with the artist capturing the spray and the rush of the water . Also notice at the bottom of the painting, the light greenish water from the river . It almost has folk art quality to it in the way the boulders and mountain side are depicted..I am unsure if this is around Niagra Falls or somewhere in the West..Colorado ? It may even be over in this part of the country in the Appalachians..I am just guessing as there is no mark , no signature.  It is on canvas , fairly large..in very good condition.  The frame it is housed in is in poor/fair condition w/ gesso loss to the bottom and side. The painting itself measures 27 ins. x 18 ins. approx. without the frame and with the frame measures 34 x 25 ins. approx.
