If you have ever wanted to try applique or embellish a craft project but you DON'T want to buy a whole yard of fabric and 2 or 3 yards of fusible interfacing for just one project....and you don't want to do have to apply the interfacing and do the sometimes tedious cutting, this is just what you need!!
These ready-to-iron pieces would look great on a sweatshirt, wallhanging, quilt, pillow, jumper, totebag, apron, photo album/scrapbook cover, etc...... I have already applied fusible Heat 'n' Bond Lite to the back of the fabric and cut out the pieces so all you have to do is iron them onto your craft or sewing project and, if desired, embellish with dimensional fabric paint or machine stitching (recommended for anything that will be washed!!).
NOTE: I do not use the "Ultra Hold" backing because you are unable to machine stitch through the heavier adhesive. The lighter weight bonding gives you a choice of painting or stitching.
A list of my tips and suggestions will be included with the appliques.
Most of the sets will have a tape measure on the edge of the picture so you can judge the approximate size of the pieces.
I made this set with a wonderful new cotton fabric design from Marcus Bothers called A Stitch in Time. It features things like an antique sewing machine, thimbles, wooden spools of thread, scissors, etc. The rich colors and the detail are wonderful! You will receive 10 pieces.
