ANTIQUE TREEN SEWING KIT - PROBABLY SHAKER
W/ THREAD HOLDER, NEEDLE CASE & PUNCH TOOL
(This week: a fine collection of early shaker and hand made sewing items!)
This little treen multi-spool sewing kit is probably Shaker, judging from the fine form and similarity to a documented piece.  It's very finely & crisply turned from a hard wood, I believe it's maple or some fruit wood.  The end is actually a punch (to make holes in cloth), and the interior is hollow to hold needles. This is really a wonderful find, and a nice addition to your Shaker or sewing collection.

CONDITION: Excellent condition all around!
