it is 7 3/4 inches tall.

it is of the 6 oz size.

It is a rather nice example of a "Shaw's Patent" codd bottle.

It is aqua green in colour of glass.

it is clean/undamaged.

it is embossed;

ERNEST PENNINGTON.WORKSOP.

It is also embossed to its rear with the details:

SHAW'S PATENT.

6875/07.( this refers to the patent number which is 6875 taken out by A.Shaw on March 22nd 1907).

The patent refers to the strengthening of the neck to the parts of the bottle which under ordinary conditions blown comparatively thin and weak..

Embossed to its rear also are the details of;

Redfearn Bros.Bottle makers.Barnsley.

A nice example of a collectable style of patent codd bottle to add to your collection/display.
