ANTIQUE SILVER MICROMOSAIC PEASANT FIGURE BRACELET 1860 A terrific antique Italian, solid silver bracelet; beautifully made, with integrated box snap fastener, galleried links with twist cable bezels and set with five stunning micromosaics in black glass mounts depicting Neapolitan peasants of the period.
An unusual, totally original bracelet - fabulously collectable!
CONDITION: All original and very good. Slight signs of wear, a few chips here & there, cracks, damage and basic repairs to two panels - pictured, not loose and possible to be improved by a competent restorer. Needs a clean.
DATE/MARKS: Around 1850/60, maybe a little older. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS: 7 inches wearable length, panels around 30 x 24 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
WEIGHT: Approx. 59.4 grams.
