ANTIQUE SILVER ‘Pocket Watch’ COMPACT Birmingham 1905

Period: Edwardian.


Style: Pocket watch style.


Materials: Hallmarked solid silver with gilt interior. Turquoise button. Mirror plate to interior.


Dimensions: 1¾ inches wide.


Weight: 1.59oz (45g).


Condition: Light surface scratches & a very light ding to rear cover but otherwise terrific condition. Hinges & catches all excellent. Mirror plate slightly spotted. Gilding to interior in great shape.


Marks: Maker mark MnWb (Mappin & Webb); Birmingham assay office mark; lion silver mark; date letter f for the year 1905.


Notes: Fabulous antique compact in good working order. Press button release to the front cover, the turquoise button is for the interior powder panel. PLEASE VIEW MY EBAY SHOP TO SEE MORE GREAT OBJECTS!
