Up for auction is this lovely old ironstone plate. This has a blue transfer of flowers around the inside rim and flowers with pheasants in the center. The palte measures 9 1/4 inches in diameter. The back is stamped in blue with flowers and a banner. Inside the banner is ASIATIC PHEASANTS and PW & Co under it. This was made inStaffordshire, England in the mid 1800's. The plate is in great condition with no chips, cracks or discoloration. There is uniform light crazing. I have several old transferware pieces listed for auction this week that came from the same estate.
