ANTIQUE STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURE - FIGURAL GROUPING w CLOCK

LARGE & WONDERFUL FIGURE ~ ALSO LISTING A FLATBACK PAIR

  I have always loved antique Staffordshire figures, so I am very excited to be selling this wonderful figural grouping as well as a fabulous large pair of flat back figures of hunters on horseback, which I have listed in another auction. This single flat back figure measures approx. 11-1/4" high x 6-1/4" across widest portion, the base measures approx. 6" wide x 2-3/4" deep. This beauty is in very good condition which is a rare find for the age and type of pottery, depicting a man and woman sitting, with a bird perched on man's hand; and a clock above their heads. There is overall crazing and small shrinkage cracks (manufacturing flaw) at man's right hand shoe and a very tiny glaze flake on back at top of clock. This is a great size and form for the collector of antique Staffordshire Pottery and  I am sure this would sell for a handsome price at any antique show or shop, but with my low opening bid and NO RESERVE someone could score a huge bargain !!
