ANTIQUE STEAMER TRUNK LARGE REFURB W/ORIG WOOD METAL

I’m a self-professed trunk-aholic…just can’t pass ‘em up! (to restore/use/resell)  I re-did this one about 5 years ago, and have to say that it’s my favorite (partial) redo. I left the wood and metal alone…the canvas was primed/painted/crackled/stained (and looks gorgeous).  The finish is very secure--no flaking at all (in fact, I'd planned to put a coat of poly on it but it's fine without!) The interior is 99% scent-free…IOW, no mold, smoke or other smells.  It’s just very slightly ‘old’ smelling (I’ve a feeling that some Febreze would eliminate it completely.)  Structurally, it’s very sound.  All original hardware is present…it needs new straps (recycle an old belt!) The interior covering is all original—relatively clean given it’s age—with one large stain on the bottom. There’s a dustcover for the top tray.  As noted in the pix, there was one structural crack on the inside (not visible on the exterior) that needed a brace ensure stability/prevent further cracking.  It measures 36W x 24”H x 22D.  (It’s perfect for storing shipping supplies for selling on eBay!)

Please note: The UPS on-line quoting system is generally reliable. HOWEVER, if there's a variance in the actual cost, I will refund the difference~~and, ask that you make up the overage (if there is one!) If you go on-line to get a quote, use 80 lbs, 40 x 28 x 28, and 85242.

Greyhound terminal to terminal is the least expensive shipping method to the far-east coast. On-line quote at Greyhound is $77.  There's no handling/materials/gas cost attached...but, I do need a 10 day handling time. If you go on-line to get a quote, use AZ (Phoenix/Casa Grande), 40" and 80 lbs. 

Please keep in mind that you pay what I pay in postage costs!!! Only in extraordinary circumstances do I add a surcharge for packing materials (large/fragile objects). In an attempt to keep postage costs down, USPS tyvek bags are utilized for shoes and clothing.  If you prefer a box, please ask at checkout! (It'll most likely bump up the actual postage cost by $1.00 or so.)  Shipment follows within 24-48 hours of payment...a confirmation email will be sent.  Insurance is offered at buyer's discretion...I'm not responsible for carrier neglect/misplacement/loss (but be assured, I pack REALLY well!)  All sales are final (barring unforeseen circumstances...i.e., an agregious oversight or unintentional misrepresentation of merchandise).
