ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER 14K GOLD COMPACT PURSE

A Delicate, Slender Necessaire Case~ Compact~Purse in 14kt. Gold, Rose Gold, and Sterling Silver. The front has been beautifully decorated with ribbons, swags, bows, and an oval cartouche. There are bands of rose and yellow gold on the front and back of the case. Inside the case are two compartments for powder and rouge along with a mirror. The inside of the compartments has been given a gold wash. The cartouche bears the initials MJT. Quiet elegance....for a special occasion or a collection. Though the case was made in the states; it was acquired from an estate in England.

The case was made by R. Blackinton & Co., the company made personal items of high quality from sterling silver and gold. Size: 3 1/4 inches X 1 5/8 inches, length of mesh handle 5 7/8" Condition: Quite good, all clasps are in good working order, Mirror condition very good. Only items to note, small area of fray to mesh handle and minor surface scratches in keeping with age and use. Marks: r b & co in separate boxes with an arrow. 1st half of 20th. Century [066-0249]

If item does not meet description I will accept returns. Notification within 3 days required and item must be returned within 7 days in the same condition received. The item must be packed, shipped, and insured in the same manner. Fees and shipping costs will be refunded on a case-by-case basis.
