ANTIQUE STRAW "FANCY WORK" SEWING BASKET OPEN WEAVE
(This week: a fine collection of early shaker and hand made sewing items! Check out my other items!)

Here's a wonderful little Victorian-era straw sewing basket in super condition. It features an open, hexagon weave along the edges. The Shakers did this kind of open weave, although others did also. The bottom is woven with wicker. Great for your sewing tools and notions, or perhaps display with some small rag balls or painted eggs.
CONDITION: Excellent condition; just a light spot on the bottom.
SIZE: 8.5" diam. at the top by 3" high.
