RARE ANTIQUE SW PERSIAN QASHQA'I CHANTEH BAG, Shishboluki tribe, probably from the Hebatlu clan, Fars Province, end of the 19th century, and in excellent, near-mint, original condition for the collector. The exact size is: 11"x12" (28x30 cm). Shishboluki Qashqa'i personal vanity bags are quite rare. The color palette and design pool with the typical totemic medallion as a field design places this specimen with the Hebatlu clan of the Shisboluki, Qashqa'i. The colors are all 100% natural and derived from plant sources. The wool quality is soft and silky to the touch. This lovely 19th century specimen will make a nice addition to any collection of antique Persian tribal and nomadic weavings.
