ANTIQUE TATRA BY ROSSETTI VIOLIN ~STRADIVARIUS~ CREMONA

Please note that I do not know anything about musical instruments, and will do my best to describe this antique violin.  Please rely upon the pics that I have furnished.  I would be happy to send additional pics to any to any interested Ebayer.  Accordingly, this item is being sold in "as is" condition.  Up for bid is an antique "Tatra by Rossetti Stradivarius" violin "Made at the Cremona Factory" and "Supplied by Churchill's of Park Street, Bristol", as per overlapping internal paper labels.  From the little that I know, The Cremona Factory is located in Czechoslovakia.  This old violin measures approximately 23-1/2" in length.  As is obvious, this antique violina requires new strings and the piece of wood above the bridge is missing.  The bridge is loose.  I do not see any cracks or other significant damage.  However, a bit of the finish is worn (please see pics 2 and 10) and there is some general wear that does not detract from the beauty of his instrument.  I believe this to be a wonderful candidate for repair and/or restoration, and a fabulous addition to one's antique musical instrument collection.  There is no accompanying case for this instrument.  Insurance of up to $50.00 of coverage is included.  PayPal is accepted, and payment must be received within seven days after bid closing, or the right to relist is retained.  Happy bidding, and I look forward to responding to any questions you may have.
