Silver Posy Holder / Tussie Mussie, assayed Birmingham 1911, maker T.H.H.

It measures 5-7/8 inches long (150mm)

I believe that you insert the posy through the top section, then wrap damp cotton wool or moss around the flower stems, then insert the top into the base, it can be hand held or a ribbon can be tied through the two loops on the sides and worn around the neck.

Apart from the tiny scratches that time always brings to antique silver its in excellent order
