Antique Spindles for Make do Bases

Looky what I found! I got these old antique spindles from an antique table and just knew you guys could do something cool with them. I must warn you this is not an exact science so expect there to be plenty of boo boos, nicks, scrapes, scratches and marks on these old spindles and while I did my best, they did not all cut exactly straight. This particular one is about 9" tall and 2" across the bottom.
